Rhodium(III)-Acetylacetonate Powder Description
Rhodium(III)-Acetylacetonate Powder is used in catalytic reagents for organic synthesis. It is suitable for the hydrosilylation of a variety of organic substrates such as alkenes, terminal or internal acetylenes, conjugated dienes, α‑ and β‑unsaturated aldehydes, and allyl compounds. It functions as a catalyst in established processes including hydrogenation, ethanol steam reforming, CO oxidation, and NOx reduction. Rhodium acetylacetonate, a source of rhodium metal ions that is soluble in organic solvents, may be used to prepare monodisperse Rh nanocrystals with controlled size and shape. It has been reported that monolayers of Rh nanocrystals demonstrate high activity in the hydrogenation of vinyl cyclohexene to selectively produce ethyl cyclohexene. These size‑ and shape‑controlled nanocrystals are applied in oil refining, chemical synthesis, and fuel cell technology.
